Job Summary Due to our continued growth, ACT is seeking a Buyer who will be responsible for procuring a broad range of component parts, materials and services as well as sourcing material and managing suppliers to fulfill production and Engineering developent requirements in accordance with company policies and procedures. We have a strong mentorship program and believe strongly in collaboration between all departments in the organization. Must Have Qualifications Associate's degree in business field with Bachelor's degree preferred or a combination of equivalent experience and education 2+ years' experience in purchasing material and production planning using an ERP/MRP system preferred Computer experience to include proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (CSI10 preferred) and MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) Must be able to manage multiple projects and prioritize work to complete assignments in a logical and efficient manner Demonstrated problem solving ability and strength in effectively communicating with others to build positive working relationships Ability to anticipate the implications and consequences of situations and take appropriate action to be prepared for possible contingencies Strong negotiation skills with the ability to reach creative solutions to satisfy objectives An enthusiastic self-starter with a strong drive to improve existing processes is highly desired Excellent organizational skills, ability to balance immediate/long-term priorities and exceptional multitasking skills are a necessity What's in it for you? 100%
