Responsibilities Identify and evaluate potential sources of used vehicles through market research, vendor networks, and industry contacts. Negotiate purchasing contracts, prices, and terms with vendors to secure the best value while maintaining quality standards. Manage vendor relationships, including contract management, performance monitoring, and resolving any procurement issues promptly. Utilize procurement management systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, and automated procurement tools to streamline purchasing processes. Conduct data analysis using Excel and other ERP systems to forecast inventory needs, analyze pricing trends, and optimize sourcing strategies. Oversee inventory management systems to ensure accurate tracking of vehicle stock levels and movement. Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to coordinate vehicle delivery schedules and ensure timely procurement. Requirements Proven experience in purchasing management within the automotive or manufacturing industry, with a focus on used vehicle sourcing preferred. Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable contracts and pricing agreements. Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, and inventory management software. Knowledge of procurement processes including contract negotiation, vendor management, and supply chain logistics. Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in Excel data analysis for forecasting and pricing strategies. Ability to lead negotiations directly with vendors while maintaining professional relationships. Experience in sourcing, supplier management, and inventory control within a fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of procurement regulations, contract management practices, and automated procurement systems.
