Culver City, CA Pay:
$27.00-$29.00 per hour

Monday-Friday We are seeking an experienced and dependable Loading Dock Specialist to manage and support daily loading dock operations at a professional corporate facility in Culver City. This position is responsible for coordinating deliveries, receiving and staging materials, maintaining accurate records, operating material-handling equipment, and ensuring the loading dock remains safe, organized, and efficient. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-conscious, comfortable with technology, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Coordinate inbound and outbound deliveries, pickups, vendors, and freight carriers Receive, inspect, document, and stage incoming shipments and materials Verify shipments using packing slips, purchase orders, and Bills of Lading Operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, carts, dollies, and other material-handling equipment Move furniture, equipment, packages, and materials to designated locations Maintain delivery logs, schedules, shipment records, and other documentation Coordinate loading dock scheduling and vendor access Identify and report damaged shipments, shortages, discrepancies, and safety concerns Maintain clean, organized, and safe loading dock and staging areas Assist with furniture installations, relocations, deliveries, and special projects Communicate professionally with vendors, carriers, building personnel, and internal teams Use computers, email, spreadsheets, scheduling tools, and other workplace systems for daily operations Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 2 years of experience in loading dock, warehouse, shipping/receiving, logistics, facilities, or a related field Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification prior to starting Experience operating forklifts and electric pallet jacks preferred Comfortable using computers, spreadsheets, email, scheduling systems, and other workplace technology Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs. and remain physically active throughout the workday Ability to successfully complete required background screening and site-access requirements
Pay Range:
$27.00-$29.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and consider qualified applicants without regard to legally protected characteristics.
