Description Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Operations Specialist to support day-to-day operations within our growing organization. The successful candidate will receive training and hands on experience through the following daily activities of the job: delivery driving, order picking, wire cutting, wire management, vendor returns, freight claims, shipping, receiving, helping customers on the front counter, inventory management, purchasing, and a back up for accounts payable and receivable. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and motivated to improve processes while working in multiple departments. This is a full-time, on-site position. Occasional travel to other CED locations will be required during inventory - one to four times a year.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Ability to learn and navigate multiple software platforms and business systems Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree - nice to have but not a requirement. We are willing to train.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Operational Work within counter sales, warehouse, purchasing, delivery, and accounting teams and ensure efficient execution of all assigned business processes. Support special projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Inventory Management & Control Maintain and improve inventory accuracy across the warehouse. Investigate inventory discrepancies and identify root causes. Coordinate inventory reconciliation activities. Assist in managing inventory adjustments and reporting. Purchase inventory and maintain inventory integrity. Customer Billing & Administrative Operations Be a back up for the following: Accounts payable and Accounts receivable. Review customer billing processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies. CED is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Disability |

Veteran Compensation Range:

The compensation range for this position is $21 to $27 hourly.
