Shepherdsville, Kentucky Join Our Leadership Team We are a rapidly growing FedEx Contractor seeking a dependable, motivated, and hands-on individual to join our leadership team. This is a driving-dominant leadership position , with approximately 75% of the role spent in a delivery vehicle performing route and field operations . The remaining time is dedicated to leadership responsibilities, including supporting drivers, assisting with daily operations, addressing performance and service concerns, and helping coordinate the needs of the team. A minimum of 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience is required for this position. Previous FedEx Ground, package delivery, transportation, or logistics experience is preferred. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys leading people but also enjoys being in the field. We're looking for a leader who can support our drivers, help coordinate a fast-paced delivery operation, solve problems as they arise, and step in wherever needed to keep the team moving safely and efficiently. This is not primarily an office or administrative management position. Our leaders are expected to lead from the field, remain actively involved in daily delivery operations, and work alongside their team.

• Career growth & advancement opportunities What We Offer Company contribution toward health insurance premiums Paid time off Paid training Career growth and advancement opportunities Hands-on leadership experience within a growing operation Key Responsibilities Spend approximately 75% of working time in a delivery vehicle performing route and field operations Assist with daily delivery operations and route execution Provide leadership, direction, and support to delivery drivers Help coordinate daily staffing, scheduling, route coverage, and call-outs Monitor daily operational performance and address issues as they arise Maintain clear and professional communication with drivers and company leadership Help ensure drivers follow company policies, safety procedures, and service expectations Assist with training, coaching, and development of employees Address employee performance and operational concerns professionally and promptly Help identify staffing and coverage needs Assist with vehicle, scanner, and equipment-related operational issues Support accident, injury, service, and safety reporting procedures Help maintain compliance with applicable company and FedEx requirements Communicate important operational updates to the appropriate members of management Maintain accurate documentation when required Assist with delivery routes and other field operations when necessary Perform additional leadership and operational duties based on the needs of the business Required Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience Must be at least 21 years old Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Ability to pass a criminal background check Ability to pass a 10-panel drug test Ability to pass a DOT physical exam Ability to meet applicable FedEx driver qualification requirements CDL is not required Ability to safely perform the physical requirements associated with package delivery when necessary Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to effectively lead and provide direction to employees Ability to remain organized and make decisions in a fast-paced environment Comfortable using smartphones, computers, messaging platforms, and other operational technology Dependable, punctual, and able to adapt to changing operational needs Must be available to work Saturdays and Mondays Previous leadership, supervisory, transportation, logistics, or delivery experience is preferred.

Leadership and administrative responsibilities will be performed around the needs of daily delivery operations. Scheduled workdays may vary based on staffing, package volume, seasonal demands, and other operational needs. Saturday and Monday availability is required Consecutive days off are not guaranteed Scheduled days off may be separated throughout the week Early morning availability may be required Weekend availability is required Additional coverage may occasionally be necessary based on operational needs Package delivery is a time-sensitive operation, and members of leadership must be able to adapt to changing daily needs. Who Will Succeed in This Role? We're looking for someone who doesn't want to simply hold a management title—we need an experienced leader who is willing to lead from the front . This position is especially well suited for someone with proven leadership experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced delivery or logistics environment and is ready to take an active role in daily operations without stepping away from driving and field operations . Previous delivery, transportation, logistics, or FedEx experience is preferred but not required.
