Do you like to drive, and do you have a good driving record? We have a great opportunity for someone to join our team of hard working shippers and delivery drivers. This is a hybrid role where you work in shipping in the morning, then drive a pickup truck doing deliveries in the afternoon. We need someone who doesn't mind a little heavy lifting. The right person for this job likes driving, will follow a GPS, likes talking to customers, can lift heavy car parts, and doesn't mind getting their hands dirty. First thing in the morning ( 8am) you'll assist our dispatcher and shipping assistants with packaging sold car parts. Everything from bumpers and doors to alternators and radios. Big and small, we do it all. We have a truck that comes in every day around 9-10am and you will help load and unload that truck and help check in the parts coming off the truck that have to go out to customers. Next, whenever that work is done (some days 9:30am, some days noon!) you will collect your paperwork from our dispatcher, load one of our pickup trucks with sold car parts --making sure the stock numbers match! -- and follow a GPS barking at you from a tablet to various stops at car dealerships, body shops and garages. When you unload the parts at each stop, you get signatures from customers and sometimes payments... all while keeping your vehicle (reasonably) clean. We need you to be able to load the parts, including learning how to drive a forklift to load engines and other large parts, you need to be able to lift a car door or an SUV rear gate, etc. We do have lift gates on the trucks for the engines/transmissions, but car parts can be heavy!

Pay:

$18.00 - $19.50 per hour
