Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Delivery Person and become the vital link between our company and our valued customers! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods using various types of vehicles, including pick ups and suv. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, route navigation, and cargo handling will ensure timely and accurate deliveries across diverse locations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your driving skills while contributing to a operation that values safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems to ensure on-time deliveries across over-the-road (OTR) driving routes. Load and unload freight with proper manual handling techniques while adhering to safety protocols for hazardous materials (Hazmat) and dangerous goods. Transport freight securely Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports in compliance with logistics cargo handling standards. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery statuses, or any issues encountered during transit. Qualifications Proven experience in delivery driving or freight transportation with knowledge of route driving and delivery driver responsibilities. Experience operating manual transmission trucks and familiarity with manual handling techniques. Ability to operate GPS navigation systems accurately for route planning and real-time adjustments. Strong understanding of truck loading/unloading procedures including freight handling. Excellent driving record demonstrating safe driving habits over the years of commercial driving experience. Physical ability to load/unload cargo manually when necessary; capable of handling heavy freight safely.

Pay:
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 40.0 per week
