Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Furniture Delivery Helper to join our dynamic delivery team. In this role, you will assist with the safe and efficient transportation of furniture and household items to customers' homes. Your energetic approach and attention to safety will ensure a positive experience for our clients while maintaining high standards of manual handling, heavy lifting, and route driving. Pay Rate:

$150per day, plus tips. Tuesday- Saturday. 5AM-2/3PM. Responsibilities Assist with loading, unloading, and securing furniture and large items using proper manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or dollies. Support the delivery driver in navigating routes safely while adhering to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Help with the safe lifting, carrying, and positioning of furniture during loading, transit, and unloading processes. Conduct thorough inspections of items before delivery to ensure quality and damage-free transfer. Communicate professionally with customers during deliveries, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns. Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, manual transmission operation, warehouse safety practices, and vehicle operation. Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and delivery vehicles. Skills Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred. Experience driving commercial vehicles such as box trucks or vans is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using proper techniques and manual handling equipment. Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude during deliveries. Experience operating material handling equipment like pallet jacks or dollies.
