We are seeking an experienced Air Import Coordinator to join our air import operations, ensure compliance, and deliver exceptional service to our global customers. Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Air Export Coordinator specializing in Freight Forwarding to coordinate our air import operations. This pivotal role involves supervising end-to-end import processes, developing client relationships, and driving sales growth within the freight forwarding logistics sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in transportation management systems, international trade regulations, and client account management to deliver exceptional service and optimize logistics solutions. Duties Manage daily import operations for air freight shipments. Ensure compliance with U.S. import regulations and international shipping requirements. Coordinate with overseas agents, airlines, trucking companies, and customs brokers. Supervise and mentor air import operations staff. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, carriers, and international partners. Review shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and other import documents. Monitor shipment performance and resolve operational issues promptly. Negotiate freight rates and support pricing activities. Develop and improve air import processes to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction. Ensure accurate billing and profitability of air import shipments. Prepare reports and monitor departmental KPIs. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of import freight forwarding experience , including supervisory experience. Strong knowledge of air import operations. Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
