We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join their Freight Crew. As a Freight Crew Member, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of the distribution center by handling forklift operations and performing heavy lifting tasks. Responsibilities Load/unload, and move freight within the distribution center. Safely handle and stack products, ensuring proper organization and secure placement. Perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling, to load and unload freight manually when required. Collaborate with the team to complete daily tasks efficiently, meeting productivity targets and maintaining a high level of accuracy. Inspect and maintain equipment regularly, reporting any malfunctions or damage to the supervisor promptly. Follow established safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Assist with inventory control, counting and verifying items as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the distribution center, contributing to a professional and efficient work environment. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to coordinate activities and ensure a smooth workflow.

Requirements:

Proficient in safe lifting techniques and ability to handle heavy items. Physical strength and stamina to perform manual lifting tasks on a regular basis. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling freight. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required. Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:30

PM Pay:
