ProspectBlue seeks a Logistics Routing Engineer for their client in Danville, VA! Match available freight with available trucks and drivers. Build efficient routes that maximize miles and minimize deadhead, while maximizing revenue, and cost savings. Work with customers and brokers to confirm pickup and delivery details. Book loads through load boards and with our direct customers. Keep load records and paperwork accurate using our TMS software.
Requirements:
1+ year of load planning, brokerage, or logistics experience preferred. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Comfortable with TMS software and load boards. Good geography knowledge of the continental US, especially in Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Able to report to work in office in Reidsville, NC or Danville, VA.
