AHEC fosters a holistic approach to health which is closely related to a variety of community and personal factors such as socio-economic status, environment, access to services, and lifestyle. AHEC, therefore, acts as a catalyst to improve community health through individual, organizational and systems change, shared experiences, access to information and education through seminars, pilot programs, consultation, research, clinical rotations, publications, and other projects. The CEO provides strategic leadership and oversees the daily operations of Camden AHEC, ensuring the organization fulfills its mission, achieves its goals, and maintains financial and organizational health. This individual serves as the primary spokesperson for the organization and works closely with the Board of Directors (Board), funding sources, and other community service providers. Responsibilities Leadership and Governance

• CEO is employed by and reports to the Board of Directors and demonstrates and articulates the vision and mission of the organization Financial Management
• Develops and manages the annual budget in cooperation with the Board and the Director of Finance Human Resources Management
• Hires, supervises, and develops staff Quality of Care and Programs
• Ensures that the organization delivers clinical care and programs that demonstrate continuous quality improvement and progress towards meeting the highest standards of quality External Relations & Fundraising
• Cultivates relationships with funders, donors, and grant-making organizations Skills Strategic thinking and planning Team leadership and staff development Community relationship-building Excellent oral and written communication skills proficiency Comfort with applying technology and learning new applications Managing projects and meeting deadlines Balancing multiple responsibilities and functioning well under pressure demonstrating a sound work ethic Attention to detail

Pay:

$150,000.00
