Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Executive Director to lead our organization with passion, strategic insight, and a commitment to excellence. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of organizational management, ensuring that programs are effectively developed, implemented, and aligned with our mission to serve members and community. Your leadership will inspire and foster strong relationships with members, and promote a culture of continuous improvement. Responsibilities Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to advance the organization's mission and goals. Inform the Board of Directors of the conditions and operations of the Association. Attending all Board of Directors, Executive Committee and Committee Meetings. Take meeting minutes at all meetings as needed. Prepare agendas and reports for all meetings. Create and distribute monthly membership newsletters and event communication. Oversee program development, ensuring services meet quality standards and comply with all regulations. Manage organizational operations, including budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with community partners, funders, clients, and other stakeholders. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, policies, and ethical standards. Manage all administrative operations of the Association and develop spacific policies, procedures, and programs to ensure efficient and effective operations. Lead Board of Directors & committee efforts by fostering a collaborative environment that promotes engagement and outcomes. Develop and recommend an annual budget in cooperation with the Treasurer and Finance Committee and operate within the confines of the established budget. Ensure that all funds, physical assets, and other property owned by the Association are properly safeguarded. Plan, coordinate and conduct a public relations program to ensure public acceptance of our industry. Provide support in the planning and implementation of all Association events. Plan and execute all communications to the membership of the Association. Oversee administrative functions using tools like Microsoft Office to streamline processes and enhance communication, Excel, QuickBooks Online and Canva. Supervise projects and programs related to strategic plans, ensuring timely execution and quality outcomes. Act as a liaison with National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and the Wisconsin Builders Association (WBA). Carry out all additional responsibilities as delegated by the Board of Directors. Requirements Familiar with Excel, QuickBooks Online and commonly used marketing/design programs Strong relationship management skills to build partnerships within the community and external organizations. Extensive administrative experience including budgeting, compliance oversight, and program management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting, communication, and documentation purposes. 2-Year Associates Degree prefered. Prior work within a Non-Profit organization prefered. At least 2-Years employment as an administrator preferred.
