Contract Administrator Applied Finishes Inc - 5.0 Chico, CA Job Details Full-time $22 - $24 an hour 7 hours ago Benefits Health insurance 401(k) Paid time off 401(k) matching Qualifications Microsoft Word Customer communication Microsoft Excel Customer service Administrative experience Productivity software Full Job Description Contract Administrator - Construction We are looking for the right individual to join our team as a full-time Contract Administrator at our construction company in Chico, California. This position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. The ideal candidate is an organized, dependable self-starter who is friendly, professional, and comfortable communicating with customers, contractors, project managers, insurance representatives, and other team members. This position requires excellent attention to detail, accuracy, follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time.
Responsibilities Include:
Review, process, and maintain construction contracts and related documents Set up new projects and complete contract/compliance start-up requirements Review contracts for administrative requirements, required documentation, and deadlines Track and maintain Certificates of Insurance (COIs) Request new and updated insurance certificates as needed Monitor insurance expiration dates and follow up on outstanding renewals Assist with
OCIP/CCIP
project enrollment, documentation, and ongoing tracking Maintain project compliance documentation and tracking spreadsheets Complete and maintain contractor/customer compliance portals Track required project documents and follow up on missing information Assist with preliminary notices, lien-related documentation, and project closeout documents as needed Maintain organized electronic project files and records Communicate with project managers and office staff regarding outstanding contract or compliance items Perform data entry and update internal spreadsheets and tracking logs Assist with customer and project-specific administrative requirements Provide general administrative support to the Contract/Project Administration team Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on experience, skill level, and the needs of the company
Qualifications:
Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Reliable with strong follow-through Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills Friendly, professional, and comfortable communicating with a variety of individuals Ability to work independently while also being part of a team Proficient with Microsoft Office Microsoft Excel experience required Comfortable learning new software programs, online portals, and internal processes Previous administrative experience preferred Construction industry, contract administration, insurance, or compliance experience is a plus, but not required for the right candidate
