Job Description

Bryles Research is seeking a Marketing Research Project Manager. In this demanding role, you will manage a primarily part-time staff according to project needs — a chance to put your leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills to work managing projects for our marketing research clients. If you have the expertise to handle multiple projects at once, the discipline to see that everything is done to client guidelines, and you enjoy the high level of client contact that market research involves, this is a great opportunity for you. Job Responsibilities The Project Manager directly supervises 1-10 part-time employees in the Study Staff Department, working alongside a second project manager. You will interview, hire, and train employees; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline employees; and address complaints and resolve problems.
Additional responsibilities include:
Creating and executing project work plans, revising them as needs and requirements change Balancing multiple projects daily, including client contacts, reports, and deliverables Identifying the resources needed and assigning individual responsibilities; training and monitoring staff on the tasks involved in executing each study Managing the day-to-day operational aspects of each project and its scope Reviewing deliverables prepared by the team before they are passed to the client Applying our methodology and enforcing project standards effectively Minimizing the company's exposure and risk on every project Ensuring project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately Communicating effectively with clients on project progress, roadblocks, and implementation to deliver quality project completion Monitoring project execution for quality of work, adherence to procedure, and completeness Assisting with project execution when needed to maintain project quality Job Requirements As the Project Manager, 2+ years of managerial experience. You should demonstrate strategic thinking, sound decision making, initiative, ethics, and professionalism, along with leadership, vision, and the ability to motivate a team while adapting to a changing workload. Past experience leading part-time staff is a strong plus.
Additional requirements include:
Basic managerial experience preferred Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing deadlines Detail orientation with solid organizational skills Strong computer, data entry, interpersonal, and telephone skills Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness Flexible schedule — evening and weekend hours are required Project Manager (Marketing / Project Management)
