The REAS line of business supports critical Ground Based Air Surveillance (GBAS) and Multi-Mission Air Defense (MMAD) programs, driving strategic growth through innovative solutions, strong customer partnerships, and successful capture efforts across domestic and international markets.
THE WORK
As a Senior Staff Business Development Analyst, you'll support business growth initiatives across the GBAS and MMAD market segments.
You'll partner with business development, capture, program management, communications, and functional teams to help identify opportunities, develop winning strategies, and execute successful captures. Responsibilities include managing New Business Fund accounts (MA/B&P), supporting Long Range Planning, maintaining customer and stakeholder relationships, coordinating trade shows and communications plans, assisting with proposal development, supporting product roadmap planning, and ensuring all activities comply with corporate policies and applicable regulations. This role includes domestic and international travel.

Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice. Evaluates and reviews consumer research, point-of-sale and syndicated data. Reports findings for major marketing, distribution, and manufacturing proposals and their impact on the sales function. Participates in the central development and implementation of new products, re-launches, new business building programs, sales rationale, etc. May also participate in presales or sales meetings to review proposed plans. Functions as liaison between regional sales and marketing function. Provides and/or initiates sales analysis affecting distribution, spending as it relates to volume, brand promotional strategy, and selling tools.
Basic Qualifications
Established and successful reputation in the business market, relationships with relevant customers
An aptitude for strategic planning, financial analysis, capture management and teaming
Diplomatic, persuasive and articulate communication style to establish and maintain rapport with internal and external senior executives
Knowledge and experience in the federal acquisition process--to include knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations
Proactive, superior attention to detail, project management, and organizational skills
Business acumen, strong analytical and problem solving skills, reliability and sound judgment
Passion for personal accountability, achievement, learning and continual improvement
Ability to articulate complex issues into succinct, cohesive summaries and presentations
Proclivity towards teaming and collaboration--must be a team player with excellent communication and presentation skills
Prior experience in radars either in a technical, programmatic or business development role
Must have a current SECRET clearance to be considered. Job location is Syracuse, NY

Full-Time Salary Range:
$129000.00 - $239600.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
