Preston County Farmland Protection Program Director Preston County Farmland Protection Board is seeking a Program Director to oversee the day-to-day activities of the Board. Applicants for this position must have a High School diploma. Candidates should possess good written and verbal communication skills, attention to details, ability to organize and complete projects, the ability to work with minimal supervision and the ability to work well with others. The candidate must be able to read and interpret business, legal and/or technical documents as well as write reports and detailed business correspondence. The candidate must also have a basic understanding of farming, a valid driver's license, insurance and a phone. This is a part-time salary position of 1,300 hours per year, of 50 hours per pay period of every two weeks, flexible schedule, rate negotiable of $28,000 to $33,000, based on experience. The office is open from 8:30 to 4:00 and consist of seven hour days.
