Job Summary:

The Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating and dispatching personnel, vehicles, or equipment to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, or needs. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive and respond to incoming calls, emails, or dispatch software notifications from customers, field personnel, or departments. Monitor job status and adjust assignments as necessary to optimize efficiency and meet deadlines. Communicate clearly with drivers, technicians, or field agents, providing accurate instructions and updates. Maintain detailed records of all dispatch activities using logs or software platforms. Handle service issues, delays, or emergencies by coordinating with management and resolving conflicts quickly. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and local laws.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in dispatching, customer service, or a related role is a plus. Proficient in using dispatch software, GPS systems, and basic office tools (Microsoft Office Suite). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong multitasking, time-management, and organizational abilities. Ability to stay calm and effective under pressure.
