Neighbors HeatingCooling | Ames, IA $20-$25/hour | Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 7:45 AM-5:00 PM Are you great at keeping schedules organized, solving problems as plans change, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks? Neighbors HeatingCooling is looking for a Service Scheduling Coordinator to help manage the daily schedules of our Service Technicians. You'll be the connection between our customers, technicians, and office team-keeping everyone informed and the day running efficiently. No HVAC experience is required. Experience in logistics, dispatching, scheduling, transportation, or customer service is preferred. What You'll Do Schedule and dispatch Service Technicians based on location, availability, and skill level Adjust schedules throughout the day as priorities change Maintain efficient technician routing and minimize downtime Answer customer calls and schedule service appointments Communicate appointment updates and delays to customers Schedule return visits when parts arrive Monitor upcoming workload and service capacity Prepare and follow up on service estimates Coordinate residential and commercial maintenance scheduling Maintain accurate customer and service records Assist with billing information and past-due account follow-up Work closely with the Office Manager and Service Manager What We're Looking For Strong organization and attention to detail Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask and shift priorities quickly Comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced environment Dependable and punctual Comfortable learning new computer programs and processes Logistics, dispatching, or scheduling experience preferred HVAC experience is not required PayBenefits $20-$25/hour , based on experience Paid time off after 60 days 401(k) with company match after one year Small-group health insurance available to eligible employees; premiums are currently employee-paid Company-provided uniforms Monday-Friday schedule with minimal overtime About Us Neighbors HeatingCooling has served Ames and Central Iowa for approximately 40 years .
