As a locally owned and operated, service-based HVAC, plumbing, sewer, underground and construction company. We are committed to setting a new standard of customer loyalty and providing expert service to the Champaign-Urbana community. We service all major brands and work with homeowners, property management firms, contractors, and businesses of all sizes. We are currently seeking a skilled and knowledgeable dispatcher/administrative assistant to join our 217 team. Job Duties Prepare daily work and run schedules. Answer incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers, be able to accurately record information given from caller and add to service schedule. Greet any visitors/guests/members professionally, determining the nature and purpose of visit. Take and resolve complaints, issues, or concerns from customers and the public in a positive and professional manner. Perform basic clerical duties, such as data entry, filing, photocopying, scanning, etc. Assist with Administrative tasks as needed. Entering data into the central database Cataloguing the data with appropriate tags for ease of reference Transferring physical records into a digital filing system Retrieving data as requested Maintaining and updating the database system as necessary Generating periodic reports as needed Indexing and filing invoices Accurately enter data into corresponding fields within various software programs Identify and correct data entry errors using appropriate quality control methods Perform related tasks like ordering office supplies and filing documents Manage and organize records and files
Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
Education:
High School Diploma/G.E.D and Associates Degree in Business (or related field)
Experience:
1-2 years of related office experience. Multi-tasking capability without compromising on quality or accuracy. Ability to enter data into a computer quickly and accurately. Ability to build positive relationships with high level of interpersonal skills. Excellent talent to interact with people in a positive and courteous manner. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize tasks according to importance in a fast-paced environment. Problem solving skills to be able to think quickly on your feet and prioritize the most important situations. Must be proficient in handling office equipment including multiple lined telephones, printers, photocopy machines, etc. Dependable and punctual. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, specifically MS Word and Excel Ability to type at 50+
WPM Pay:
$19.50 - $25.50 per hour
