Feed Mill Dispatcher **MARYLAND/HURLOCK** (NIGHT SHIFT)
Job Description
Dispatchers monitor different computer programs and generate feed tickets along with entering feed inventories in Excel. Dispatchers will be expected to provide exceptional customer service and be able to multitask. Job Duties/ Responsibilities Dispatch loads to drivers along with weighing trucks Input inventories into excel and M-Tech computer systems Balance farm folders Balance tickets hauled from previous day Create feed tickets when needed Verify ABF program is followed accurately Work through emergency situations as they arise and direct the situation to the appropriate management Answer phone calls and log inventories from growers Verify documentation at end of shift to ensure accuracy Ability to work overtime as needed Competencies Ability to multitask and work through difficult situations Meet goals and deadlines in a timely manner Ability to take constructive input from superior Ability to accurately perform job duties when outside distractions arise Follow all policies and procedures Exhibit a positive work attitude - work well with others Skills Possess excellent customer relation skills and phone courtesy Knowledge of Microsoft programs, word, and excel M-tech experience is beneficial Possess organizational skills Possess basic math skills Prior dispatching experience is beneficial Schedule Dispatchers work a 3-2-2-3 schedule Day shift hours 5am-5pm Night shift hours 5pm-5am Core Competencies Safety Quality Yield Cost Relationships Team Member Code Safety starts and ends with you People eat what we make Hard work always pays off Doing what's right is never wrong Communicate, Communicate, Communicate Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
