Job Summary:
The Routing and Dispatch Coordinator will be responsible for the daily scling, routing, and dispatch of both delivery drivers and service technicians in supported locations to ensure the efficient distribution of propane and optimal utilization of field resources. This role will leverage route optimization software and work closely with District Operations, Customer Experience teams, and regional leadership to create efficient routes and scles that meet/exceed operational metrics while maintaining exceptional customer service. The Routing and Dispatch Coordinator will serve as the subject matter expert for routing infrastructure, scling optimization, field resource utilization, and reporting tools and dashboards associated with these functions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prior experience with driver routing and/or technician dispatching required Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Balances operational efficiency with technician, driver, and customer needs Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable results Detail-oriented problem solver with high accuracy standards
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Act as subject matter expert for route planning processes and scling optimization Strong analytical skills with proven ability to solve problems and translate data into actionable results Knowledge of safety and DOT protocols Strong understanding of field operations with ability to identify andmunicate downstream impacts of strategic decisions Ability to understand and relate technical requirements for service work
Education and Experience:
High School diploma required. Associate degree preferred 3-5 years of experience in operations analysis, routing, logistics, technician scling, and/or dispatch Multi-location routing and scling experience preferred; Propane experience a plus; Supervisor or management experience preferred AmeriGas Propane, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The pay for this position ranges from $37.00 to $37.00 , depending on circumstances including an applicant's skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additionalpensation may include eligibility to earn a performance-based bonus ormissions onpleted sales depending on position.
