Dispatcher Job Description We are seeking a detail‑oriented Dispatcher with transportation and logistics experience, preferably in intermodal operations. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and able to coordinate fast‑moving operational needs with accuracy and professionalism. Responsibilities Coordinate daily dispatch, assign drivers and equipment for timely container moves Communicate with customers via email regarding updates, scheduling, and quotes Enter and update orders in dispatch systems, including customer and equipment data Monitor driver progress, container status, and equipment locations Handle occasional customer phone calls Support general office and administrative tasks as needed Qualifications Knowledge of port and/or rail ramp operations Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Excel, Word, and basic computer systems Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment Team‑oriented with a proactive, problem‑solving mindset Job Type Full Time Salary Range $55,000
