Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating transportation logistics and ensuring efficient fleet management. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to analyze data effectively to optimize operations. Duties Manage daily dispatch operations, ensuring timely and accurate communication with drivers and clients. Utilize phone systems to facilitate clear and effective communication across all levels of the organization. Oversee fleet management tasks, including vehicle tracking and maintenance scheduling. Input and maintain data entry in relevant systems, including SyteLine, to ensure accurate records of transportation activities. Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to streamline operations and enhance service delivery. Analyze transportation planning metrics to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Collaborate with team members to resolve any issues that arise during the dispatch process. Skills Experience with fleet management systems and phone systems for effective communication. Strong analytical skills to assess data and make informed decisions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with drivers, clients, and team members effectively.
