Full Job Description Job Type:
Full-Time Onsite Ready Mix LLC is looking for a dependable, hardworking team member to join our ready mix operations. This is a hands-on, hybrid position that combines ready mix mixer driving, concrete batching, dispatching, and general plant support. The ideal candidate has a strong background in the ready-mix concrete industry , excellent mechanical and troubleshooting skills, strong leadership abilities, and a thorough understanding of concrete production and quality requirements. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn multiple aspects of the operation and can step into different roles depending on what the day requires. What You'll Do Operate a ready mix concrete mixer truck and safely deliver concrete to jobsites Load and wash out mixer trucks properly Assist with batching concrete and learning/operating the batch system Dispatch trucks and coordinate drivers and delivery schedules Communicate with drivers, customers, and plant personnel Help keep concrete deliveries running smoothly and on schedule Read and understand concrete orders and mix requirements Complete delivery tickets and other required paperwork Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized plant and work area Assist with general plant duties and other tasks as needed Be willing to jump in wherever help is needed What We're Looking For Ready mix, concrete, construction, driving, batching, or dispatch experience is a plus CDL Class A or B with air brakes preferred or willingness to obtain one Good driving record Reliable and dependable Comfortable working outdoors and in different weather conditions Able to communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and coworkers Able to stay organized and make decisions in a fast-paced environment Comfortable learning computer systems and batching/dispatch software Someone who is willing to wear multiple hats and be part of the team Previous ready mix experience is preferred This Position Is a Little Bit of Everything This isn't a position where you'll be doing the same thing every day. Depending on the needs of the plant, you may spend part of your day driving a mixer, batching concrete, dispatching trucks, helping drivers, or assisting around the plant. We're looking for someone who is hands-on, dependable, willing to learn, and doesn't mind jumping in wherever they're needed. Salary will commensurate with experience.
