Responsibilities Actively source, recruit, and interview prospective CDL drivers through various channels, including job fairs, online platforms, and community outreach. Manage the entire recruitment process from application review to onboarding, ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Maintain accurate records of driver information, certifications, licensing, and compliance documentation using spreadsheets. Communicate effectively with drivers regarding schedules, route changes, safety protocols, and company policies via phone, email, or messaging platforms. Monitor driver performance and provide support or coaching as needed to promote safety and efficiency. Ensure adherence to all transportation regulations and company policies related to driver conduct, hours of service, and safety standards. Requirements Proven experience in recruiting CDL drivers or working within transportation or logistics industries. Strong knowledge of public speaking techniques for engaging potential candidates and conducting interviews confidently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for data management and communication tasks. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of transportation regulations, licensing requirements, and safety standards applicable to commercial driving. Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills for working with drivers, internal teams, and external partners. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while demonstrating leadership in managing recruitment efforts and dispatch operations.
