Summary:
The Dispatcher is responsible for being the first point of contact for customers by answering incoming phone calls, gathering accurate information, and creating service tickets. This role also reviews newly created tickets to confirm proper classification, clear documentation, and accurate routing before tickets move forward for technical review or scheduling.
Primary Responsibility Breakdown:
Approximately 75% of this role is focused on answering phones and creating tickets. Approximately 25% is focused on reviewing new tickets for proper classification and documentation accuracy. Responsibilities
- Answer incoming customer phone calls in a professional, friendly, and helpful manner.
- Create accurate service tickets by documenting the customer's issue, contact information, urgency, affected systems, and any relevant details.
- Ask clear follow-up questions to help ensure tickets contain enough information for the technical team to begin work efficiently.
- Review newly created tickets for proper classification, including ticket type, priority, client, contact, and service category.
- Route tickets according to company process and escalate urgent or unclear requests when appropriate.
- Maintain clear written communication with customers and internal team members.
- Protect customer and Premier Technologies information by keeping company and customer information confidential.
- Follow company processes for ticket creation, classification, communication, and documentation.
- Work as part of a team to support timely customer service and accurate ticket handling.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

SKILLS and
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience
- Previous customer service, receptionist, call center, dispatch, or administrative experience preferred.
- Previous experience using a ticketing, scheduling, CRM, or customer service application is helpful but not required. Certificates and licenses

- Strong verbal communication skills and a professional phone presence.
- Good spelling, grammar, and typing skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced office environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow established processes.
- Able to read, write, and speak English clearly. Physical Demands
- While performing the duties of this job, an individual is regularly required to sit, talk, hear, type, and use a computer and phone for extended periods of time.
- The work environment is a professional office setting with a usually moderate noise level.
