Our campus offers multiple levels of care—including independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care—ensuring residents can enjoy stability and peace of mind in a warm, welcoming environment. Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Director of Memory Care to lead our specialized program for residents with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily operations, managing care teams, and ensuring the highest standards of resident-centered care. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in long-term care settings, strong leadership skills, and a passion for enriching the lives of individuals with memory impairments. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the Memory Care team to deliver compassionate, personalized care that respects residents' dignity and rights. Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized care plans tailored to each resident's unique needs and preferences. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to dementia care, including long-term care policies and safety standards. Oversee medication administration processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to healthcare regulations. Foster a positive environment that promotes resident engagement, safety, and well-being through innovative programming. Manage operational aspects such as budgeting, financial management, staffing schedules, and resource allocation to maintain efficient facility operations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and community resources to support residents' health goals and social needs. Qualifications Proven management experience in nursing homes or senior living facilities with a focus on memory or dementia care. Extensive knowledge of long-term care regulations, Alzheimer's disease, dementia care best practices, and resident's rights. Strong nursing leadership background with experience in nursing home administration or healthcare facility management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes. Demonstrated ability to supervise teams effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in home & community care settings is a plus. Excellent organizational skills combined with financial acumen for budgeting and resource management. Pay:
From $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
