Full-Time Position Summary The Facilities Asset Coordinator is responsible for the organization, storage, inventory, maintenance, tracking, and lifecycle management of facility and manufacturing infrastructure equipment, tools, materials, and related assets across company facilities. This position ensures equipment and assets are properly identified, maintained, accounted for, repaired, replaced, stored, and disposed of. The position also coordinates with internal departments, vendors, and contractors to support equipment installation, maintenance, repair, replacement, and other Facilities-related projects. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate inventory and asset records for facility and manufacturing infrastructure equipment, tools, materials, and other assigned assets. Tag and track equipment by asset number, location, condition, status, and ownership. Organize and maintain equipment storage areas and ensure proper labeling and housekeeping. Coordinate preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, and service calls. Maintain equipment maintenance, repair, warranty, and service records. Identify damaged, obsolete, or end-of-life equipment and coordinate replacement requests. Coordinate purchasing, delivery, installation, and replacement of equipment as directed. Coordinate disposal, recycling, salvage, and removal of obsolete or surplus equipment. Work with Facilities, Manufacturing, Engineering, Warehouse, Purchasing, EHS, vendors, contractors, and recycling providers. Conduct periodic physical inventory and asset verification. Maintain equipment lifecycle documentation and assist with replacement forecasting and budgeting. Ensure equipment storage, handling, maintenance, and disposal follow company safety and environmental requirements. Coordinate with vendors and contractors to obtain quotes and schedule equipment service, repairs, installation, preventive maintenance, and other Facilities-related work. Track equipment and project-related purchase orders, invoices, warranties, service agreements, and supporting documentation. Coordinate equipment installations, moves, replacements, and related project schedules with internal departments and external service providers. Support asset and equipment needs across multiple company facilities and maintain accurate location and status information when assets are transferred between sites. Maintain required inspection, preventive maintenance, service, and compliance documentation for assigned equipment and assets. Follow up with vendors and internal stakeholders on open service requests, repairs, deliveries, installations, and project action items. Assist the Facilities Manager with project status tracking, equipment replacement planning, budgeting, and capital expenditure documentation as needed. Support Facilities audits, physical asset counts, and other asset-management or compliance activities as required. Perform other Facilities-related duties and projects as assigned. Required Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in equipment coordination, asset management, facilities, manufacturing, maintenance, or warehouse operations. Experience with equipment inventory, asset tagging, and tracking. Experience coordinating equipment maintenance and repairs. Strong organizational, recordkeeping, and communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience with asset management, inventory, or facilities management software preferred. Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple projects and departments. Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, contractors, employees, and management and follow up on multiple open items simultaneously. Ability to maintain accurate records and organize equipment, maintenance, purchasing, and project documentation. Preferred Qualifications Manufacturing, electronics, computer/server, warehouse, or data-center experience. Knowledge of OSHA requirements and
ISO 9001/14001
standards. Experience with equipment purchasing, vendor management, recycling, and disposal. CMMS/FMS or computerized asset-management experience. Experience coordinating vendors, contractors, equipment installations, or Facilities-related projects. Experience supporting multiple facilities or locations preferred. Familiarity with purchase orders, invoices, service contracts, warranties, and capital equipment documentation preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to walk manufacturing and warehouse facilities. Ability to lift and move equipment/materials as required. Ability to climb ladders and work around manufacturing, warehouse, and maintenance environments. Ability to safely work around and coordinate the use of forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, lifts, and other material-handling equipment as applicable. Ability to travel between company facilities as needed to inspect, verify, coordinate, or support assigned assets and Facilities projects.
Pay:
$23.00 - $26.00 per hour
