Why This Role Exists The Facilities Assistant Manager helps keep The Prospector running safely, smoothly, and beautifully. Working alongside the Director of Facilities, you'll maintain our buildings and grounds, support improvement projects, and support Prospects as we build valuable workplace skills. Every repair, project, and preventative maintenance task helps create an environment where our mission can thrive. What You'll Do (aka Your Sparkle in Action) Partner with the Director of Facilities to maintain all theater and Popcorn Factory buildings, grounds, and equipment. Perform preventative maintenance and repairs, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, landscaping, and general upkeep. Assist with facility improvement and construction projects from planning through completion. Develop and maintain systems for tracking work orders and preventative maintenance. Support Clean Team with custodial tasks and facility cleaning as needed. Help keep the property safe during all seasons, including snow and ice removal. Coach, train, and supervise Prospects working on Clean Team & Facilities projects, creating meaningful learning opportunities. Create training schedules to review material and seasonal changes for Clean Team. Create weekly and daily Clean Team schedules to ensure proper coverage. Reinforce Standard Operating Procedures while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. Collaborate with managers across the organization to provide an outstanding experience for Prospects, guests, and team members. What You Bring to the Table A passion for The Prospector's mission and inclusive employment. Three or more years of facilities maintenance, trades, or supervisory experience. Experience with general building maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and landscaping. Willingness to undergo training and certifications when needed to expand skills. Strong troubleshooting, organization, and project management skills. Confidence using hand and power tools safely. The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with others. Excellent communication and coaching skills with a desire to help others learn and grow. Flexibility to work varied hours, including Sundays and during inclement weather. Ability to safely lift 50 pounds and work on ladders or scaffolding. Pay:
$50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
