POSITION SUMMARY
Vertol Systems Company, Inc. (VSC) is seeking a motivated and dependable Aviation Facilities Assistant to support the daily upkeep of our aviation facilities in Destin and Crestview, Florida. This entry-level position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to be part of a professional aviation environment. The assistant will help maintain aircraft, hangars, facilities, offices, and surrounding grounds to ensure safe, clean, and efficient operations.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with routine maintenance and minor repairs to aircraft, hangars, and other company facilities. Maintain the appearance of company grounds through mowing, trimming, landscaping, and general cleanup. Assist with painting, pressure washing, basic carpentry, and other facility improvement projects. Assist with moving equipment, supplies, and materials as needed. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with company safety standards. Travel between company locations to perform maintenance and support operational needs. Perform other duties as assigned.DISCLAIMER

Previous experience in facility maintenance, landscaping, construction, or a related trade is helpful but not required. Basic knowledge of hand and power tools. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills. Experience with HVAC, plumbing, or electrical work is a plus but not required. Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good communication and customer service skills.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.WORK SCHEDULE
Monday- Friday, 7:45 a.m.
- 5:00 p.m. Occasional weekends as needed. Regular travel between VSC's Destin and Crestview facilities. SALARY $45,000
- $50,000 per year

$45,000.00- $50,000.
