Duties Manage daily operations of the pet boarding facility, ensuring a safe and clean environment for all animals. Supervise staff members, providing training and guidance on animal care practices and customer service. Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance the quality of care provided to pets. Oversee pet boarding services, including feeding, exercise, grooming, and administering medications as needed. Maintain accurate records of pet care activities, including health assessments and behavioral observations. Handle customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy, fostering strong relationships with pet owners. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations related to animal care. Coordinate with veterinarians for any medical needs or emergencies involving boarded pets. Skills Strong experience in dog training and handling techniques. Background in veterinary services, including veterinary technician or assistant experience. Proficient in pet grooming practices and techniques. Familiarity with kennel operations and animal restraint methods. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for animal handling and facility maintenance.
