You own the staff, the schedule, the floor, the customer experience, and the financial performance of the gym. Our program leadership continues to own competitive team coaching and lesson plan design, which frees you to run the business and lead the staff. Not local? What You'll Own Lead the team and the floor Set the tone in the building and build a place where great coaches want to stay Hire, onboard, and develop coaches and front desk staff, with support from our recruiting and HR teams Build staff schedules against class demand and labor targets, and manage coverage for call-outs and open shifts Lead the floor: classes run the right way, lesson plans followed, kids engaged, rotations on time. Build rec floor rotations and coach staff in the moment Grow enrollment Work leads and waitlists to fill classes and drive utilization Run at least one local marketing event per month, plus re-engagement campaigns to bring back past customers Manage social media and online presence Run the business Manage the gym to an annual budget: revenue, labor hours, staffing costs, and overhead Design and launch the semester schedule in Jackrabbit, and adjust class offerings as enrollment shifts Run monthly billing, manage past-due accounts, and approve timecards and payroll weekly Manage vendors, supplies, software, and subscriptions Take care of families and the facility Main point of contact for parent questions and concerns; keep the gym welcoming and well-communicated Support the competitive team on administration: meet and hotel bookings, travel and reimbursements, and competition fees Keep the facility safe, clean, and compliant; coordinate repairs and equipment orders within budget Manage weather closures and class cancellations What We're Looking For Gymnastics management experience strongly preferred — gym manager, program director, team director, or owner. Swim school, dance studio, or martial arts management also considered 2+ years leading a team, with comfort managing to a budget and understanding what drives revenue Comfortable being on the floor. This is not a back-office job — you need enough knowledge of the sport to know what good looks like Strong organization and communication; you follow through and close loops Comfortable with scheduling and billing software (Jackrabbit a plus, not required) Able to pass a background check and available for evenings and occasional weekends Compensation and Benefits Base salary of $60,000 - $80,000, depending on experience Annual performance bonus tied to gym revenue and payroll performance Relocation assistance Health insurance eligibility 10 days paid time off plus paid company holidays Employee discount on classes and programs Structured onboarding and training directly with the gym's founder Phenom is part of Elevate Youth Development, a growing family of gymnastics, swim, and martial arts programs.
