Job Description

Facility Operations Manager Location:
Rio Rancho, NM (1600 Rio Rancho Blvd SE)
Duration:
6 Months (Contract-to-Hire)
Pay Rate:
$60 - $65/hr on W2
Shift:
1st Shift Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Facility Operations Manager to oversee space utilization, building maintenance, and facility services. In this role, you will ensure efficient operations, compliance with safety codes and regulations, and cost-effective management of new construction, remodeling, and repair projects.
Key Responsibilities Space & Facility Planning:
Develop programs and plans for current and anticipated space requirements, and coordinate facility design approvals.
Maintenance & Operations:
Inspect plant facilities, review inspection reports, and coordinate repair and maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
Vendor & Contract Management:
Evaluate proposals, review bids for design and contracting services, and recommend bid acceptances.
Budgeting & Compliance:
Formulate operating procedures, prepare budget estimates based on expenditure reports, and ensure compliance with all applicable codes, laws, and company standards.
Team Leadership:
Supervise, train, hire, and motivate staff while enforcing company security and safety policies.
Minimum Requirements Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field (equivalent combination of training and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree) .
Experience:
At least 5 years of progressive supervisory experience managing contracts for maintenance, operations, or construction services for facilities/infrastructure. 10 years of experience with similarly sized contracts.
Skills:
Strong communication, analytical, and computer skills, including working knowledge of integrated software applications. IICIT01
