DIRECTOR OF FACILITIES III SALARY

$110,000 minimum - commensurate with experience

DESCRIPTION

The Director of Facilites is directly responsible to the Superintendent for providing administrative direction to Amherst Central School District's Building and Grounds Department. The work is performed according to established policies and procedures and in accordance with applicable state, local and federal laws, rules and regulations which apply to Amherst Central School District's facility operations and maintenance. The Director of Facilities is expected to supervise and evaluate all activities associated with and staff assigned to Building and Grounds. •

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be an eligible candidate on the Civil Service

FACILITIES DIRECTOR III

canvass list OR eligible for transfer by currently working under the respective title. Bachelors or Associates Degree or experience in school facilities maintenance, building construction, building maintenance or repair work in several trades, including/supplemented by three years of supervisory experience. Knowledge of and experience with school district programs, services, and operations is preferred. Must be fingerprinted through the NYS Department of Education (fingerprint procedures)-attached
