Job Description

Frozen Ropes is seeking a Business Manager to help oversee and support the day-to-day business and operational functions of our Chester, NY facility while also contributing to broader organizational initiatives. This is a hands-on, multi-functional management position that combines business operations, administration, facility supervision, marketing support, technology, reporting, project management, and business development. The Business Manager will work closely with leadership to keep the organization organized, efficient, and moving forward. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, proactive, and business-minded professional who can manage multiple priorities, take ownership of projects, solve problems, and work comfortably across different areas of the organization. This person will also serve as a management presence during select evening and weekend operations, including tournaments and other high-volume periods. The position offers the opportunity to work directly with leadership, contribute to meaningful business initiatives, and take on increasing responsibility within an established and growing sports organization. Day:
Help manage and coordinate day-to-day business operations and administrative functions Help supervise facility operations during key programs, events, tournaments, and high-volume periods Serve as a management presence during select evening and weekend operations Help ensure programs, tournaments, events, and facility activities run smoothly and according to schedule Coordinate with coaches, instructors, staff, customers, and vendors to address operational needs Identify operational challenges and help develop practical solutions Assist leadership with operational planning and special projects Track projects from start to finish and ensure follow-ups and deliverables are completed Schedule & Availability This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule , but candidates must be comfortable working some weekday evenings and weekends . Frozen Ropes operates programs, leagues, tournaments, camps, and events outside of traditional business hours. The Business Manager will play an important role in helping supervise these operations, particularly during our tournament season and other high-volume periods . The schedule will vary based on the needs of the business, and we will provide flexibility where possible. However, regular evening and weekend availability is an essential part of the position . Candidates should be comfortable balancing a flexible weekday schedule with occasional later shifts and weekend responsibilities. What We're Looking For In addition to strong business and organizational skills, we're looking for someone who: Is comfortable taking ownership of day-to-day operational responsibilities Can confidently interact with staff, coaches, customers, vendors, and leadership Is comfortable serving as a management presence during evening and weekend operations Can remain organized and professional in a busy, fast-paced facility environment Understands that some of our busiest business periods occur outside of traditional weekday hours Is flexible and willing to adjust their schedule based on tournaments, events, and operational needs
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
