00 per hour Position Summary In accordance with the mission and values of The Village of St. Edward, the Marketing & Admissions Assistant is responsible for providing support to the organization and the Director of Marketing and Admissions. This includes professional, respectful communication with co-workers, residents, resident's family members, and outside individuals. Accurate data entry and coordination regarding admissions is essential. Performs other duties as assigned. Prepares reports in a timely and accurate manner as directed by the Director of Marketing and Admissions. Prepares Admissions packets. Completes required admission paperwork with residents and families including preparing copies, scanning documents and disseminating information. Conducts tours of the community. Assists in coordinating move-ins for new residents. Interacts with residents, families, visitors, volunteers and staff in a positive, empathetic professional manner, consistent with defined scope of practice or job description. Assists with planning marketing events. Participates in marketing events. Uses the problem-solving process appropriately, either individually or in collaboration with others. Attends and participates in necessary or assigned work groups. Participates in performance improvement activities to identify and resolve individual and system issues. Demonstrates the ability to apply effective customer and consumer service principles to everyday work situations Consistently works to meet the needs of consumers, residents and families in a kind and helpful manner. Establishes and maintains positive interpersonal relations. Maintains open communication with team members. Recognizes and acts upon resident, family and team concerns and suggestions in a timely manner and reports results of the resolution to the appropriate person(s). Completes work in an accurate, timely and effective manner which assists others in completing their duties, in compliance with job requirements. Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communications skills. Supports the philosophy of person-centered care (PCC) by actively participating in the person-centered care process. Fosters development and enhancement of person-centered care practices.
Qualifications:
Experience in marketing and sales preferred. Works and communicates with the public, personnel, residents and resident families under all conditions. Must have excellent communication skills and able to work with different personalities and positions. Subject to frequent interruptions. Some travel required to execute facility marketing plan. Expected to work beyond normal working hours when necessary (weekends and nights occasionally) Able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds independently and over 50 pounds with assistance. Demonstrates accuracy and excellent phone and clerical skills. Excellent computer skills including experience working with a database, Microsoft outlook, and excel.
