Summary of Responsibilities The Program Director will provide executive level supervision and leadership that ensures that all aspects of Jackson House follow established in-house, state, and federal regulations. It is very important that the Program Director stays current with all relevant Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs), medical guidelines, insurance guidelines, regulations, and laws to maintain facility compliance. It is imperative that the Program Director has impeccable communication and interpersonal skills suitable for problem-solving and enacting solutions for any issues that our patients and staff may encounter. This includes ensuring that the patients admitted are appropriate for our level of care to guarantee safety for patients and all personnel providing services. As well as hiring new personnel to maintain safe staffing ratios and smooth facility operations. Professionalism is vital in creating and maintaining relationships within our community. Both administrative and critical thinking skills are necessary to ensure that all services provided are efficient and meet the expected quality of Jackson House while maintaining an established budget. It is a fast-paced and multifaceted position, but it is very fulfilling when operations are running smoothly, and you can see that reflected in quality of patient care and satisfaction of staff. The right candidate for this position will display expert level of knowledge about Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs) and Class 1 Secure Residential Treatment Facilities (SRTF). Qualifications Master's degree in a relevant subject area such as health care management, social work, psychology, or other mental health related degree, required. Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) or equivalent is highly preferred. Five (5) years of management or administration experience in an inpatient or residential mental health facility experience required. Five (5) years of program director experience in an inpatient or residential mental health facility experience preferred. Obtain and maintain current BLS CPR. Licensed driver with an automobile that is in good working order and ability to drive in various weather conditions to ensure reliability.
