The ISS Supervisor will be responsible for providing leadership to direct-care staff, ensuring clients recieve appropriate support and supervision, maintaining a safe and structured environment, and helping to ensure the program operates according to company policies and applicable to Texas HHSC requirements and standards. Responsibilities Supervise and mentor direct care staff, and support personnel to ensure adherence to best practices in behavioral health and patient care Oversee daily client activities, schedules, and staffing assignments. Ensure clients recive appropriate supervision, support, and care. Monitor staff performance, attendance, punctuality, and workplace conduct. Train and orient new employees on facility policies and client-specific procedures. Ensure staff follow individual service plans, behavior plans, and client care requirements. Document and report behavioral incidents, injuries, unusual occurrences, and other concerns appropriately. Communicate with Above management regarding client needs, staff concerns, incidents, and operational issues. Maintain accurate daily documentation and program records. Monitor the cleanliness, safety, and organization of the facility. Help ensure required supplies and client materials are avaliable. Assist with implementing life-skills, socialization, community-integration, and recreational activities. Address staff and client concerns professionally and promptly. Assist management with scheduling and coverage when needed. Ensure staff follow company policies and applicable regulatory requirements. Maintain confidentiality regarding clients, families, employees, and company information. Participate in staff meetings, training, and quality-improvement activities. Serve as a positive role model for staff and promote a respectful, Professional work environment.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Required Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Experience working with adults with (IDD) Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Expreience in an adult day program, group home, behavioral health, direct-care, or similar setting preferred. Strong communication and organization skills. Strong ability to Lead, direct, supervise, and hold staff accountable. Ability to remain calm and professional when handling challenging behaviors or unexpected situations. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Must be able to pass required background checks and meet applicable employment requirements. This role is essential for someone who is dependable, responsible, compassionate, and confident in a leadership role. You must be comfortable leading staff, enforcing policies, addressing problems completing documentation, and communicating with management and families when appropriate.
