Sports Facility Manager & Lead Coach The Prime Developers Leander, TX Job Details Full-time $52,774.79 - $63,556.74 a year 5 hours ago Qualifications CPR Certification Sports team experience English Football coaching experience Business management Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Sports Facility Manager & Lead Coach to oversee the daily operations of our sports complex and lead a dynamic coaching team. This pivotal role combines facility management with hands-on coaching, ensuring a safe, engaging, and high-performance environment for athletes of all ages and skill levels. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for sports, exceptional leadership skills, and a comprehensive understanding of biomechanics, physiology, and fitness industry standards. Your enthusiasm will inspire clients and staff alike, driving excellence in sports programming and facility maintenance. About Us The Prime Developers is an Austin-based commercial real estate company that develops and manages retail and mixed-use properties across Texas. We're partnering with the National Academy of Athletics for multi-sport training and athletic performance facility at our Prime Leander property, with [indoor turf, batting cages, courts, and a strength & conditioning area]. We're looking for a hands-on leader to be the face of the facility, run daily operations, and coach athletes of all ages and skill levels. What You'll Do Manage day-to-day facility operations: opening and closing, scheduling, court, turf, and cage rentals, and equipment upkeep Lead private lessons, group clinics, camps, and team training in [primary sport(s), e.g., baseball, softball, cricket, basketball, volleyball, soccer] Design strength, speed, agility, and conditioning programs for youth, high school, and adult athletes Create and run leagues, tournaments, and seasonal programs that keep the facility busy year-round Build relationships with local clubs, leagues, schools, and parents to grow memberships and bookings Hire, train, and schedule part-time coaches and front desk staff as the facility grows Keep the facility safe, clean, and organized; report on attendance, revenue, utilization, and member feedback Support marketing through social media content, events, and community outreach What We're Looking For 3+ years of coaching, training, or sports program experience (collegiate, pro, or high-level club playing experience is a big plus) Experience managing a sports facility, gym, club, or staff Knowledge of strength and conditioning and athletic performance training Comfort with scheduling, budgeting, and tracking basic business metrics Strong communication with kids, parents, coaches, and adult athletes Self-starter who can run the facility independently and take ownership of results Available evenings and weekends, when athletes train CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain Background check required Nice to Have Certifications such as NSCA (CSCS), NASM, or national governing body coaching credentials Experience with booking or membership software (e.g., [Mindbody, Upper Hand, LeagueApps]) Experience launching a new facility or program from the ground up Bilingual (English/Spanish) What We Offer Competitive pay: $20/hour + 20% revenue share(negotiable)
