Manage access control systems, including badge identification, visitor management, and credentialing processes. Drive continuous improvement through policy updates and integration of new technologies. Provide oversight of facility security operations, including alarm response, access control, surveillance systems, key and lock control, emergency response planning, and physical security assessments. Serve as the senior security advisor for classified contract execution, ensuring security requirements are identified, interpreted, and implemented in alignment with program needs and regulatory standards. Ensure compliance with Special Security Agreement (SSA) requirements, including regular coordination with the Government Security Committee (GSC), administration of the Visitation Policy (VP), and submission of required reports and assessments. Oversee personnel security operations, ensuring all employees, contractors, and consultants who require access to classified information have active and in-scope security clearances in accordance with government and company standards. Build and lead a high-performing security team, including hiring, training, mentoring, and evaluating staff. Guide performance, development, and personnel decisions. Manage the insider threat program at the facility level and support company-wide initiatives by collaborating with HR, Legal, and IT to detect, report, and respond to potential risks.
