Indoor & Outdoor Job Summary We are hiring experienced Forklift Operators to join a busy fabrication shop and yard in El Centro, CA. This position will operate forklifts and material-handling equipment to safely move steel, fabricated materials, and other products throughout the shop and outdoor yard. This is a hands-on position in a fabrication environment , so candidates should be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors and around heavy materials and equipment. Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, move, and stage materials Transport steel, fabricated components, and other heavy materials throughout the shop and yard Load and unload trucks and trailers Organize and stage materials for fabrication and shipment Assist with general yard and shop duties as needed Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines Work safely around cranes, fabrication equipment, trucks, and other heavy machinery Assist the fabrication team with material handling and other tasks as needed Qualifications Previous forklift operating experience required Experience in a fabrication shop, steel yard, construction, manufacturing, or industrial environment preferred Ability to safely handle heavy and oversized materials Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong attendance and reliability #
