This role is responsible for loading, unloading, moving, and staging large industrial products and materials using a sit-down forklift. The ideal candidate has experience handling heavy or oversized items in a fast-paced warehouse environment and takes pride in working safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move products throughout the warehouse and yard. Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments. Transport, stage, and organize materials for shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment. Verify product quantities, labels, and shipping documents for accuracy. Conduct daily forklift inspections and report any mechanical or safety concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Assist with general warehouse duties, including inventory control and material handling as needed. Qualifications Minimum of 1-2 years of sit-down forklift experience . Experience handling large, heavy, or oversized materials preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift. Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety. Forklift certification preferred, or the ability to become certified. Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Experience in a distribution, manufacturing, construction supply, or industrial warehouse environment is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the workday. Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures. Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment for extended periods. Must be able to work both independently and within a team-oriented environment.
