Forklift Operator -

Job Description Pay Range:

$17.50 - $21.00 hourly.

Job Summary:

Forklift Operators are responsible for safely and efficiently transporting materials to different locations throughout the entire plant, loading/unload of containers, and stacking/unstack of bins using a variety of different forklift types, including electric and LPG lifts.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operator Electric/LPG forklifts, Single-Double forklifts, Push/Pull forklift, Bin Dumper Attachment, Shuttle truck, Scale system, and Boom-lifts.
• Manage & prep materials, inventory, and product for operations.
• Picking, prepping, and securing orders.
• Inspect containers and shipping equipment.
• Loading & unloading of products, items, and materials.
• Verify and validate loads, inventory, containers for accuracy and securement.
• Inspecting for damage to vehicle and is fully operational for use.
• Notify supervisor immediately for maintenance and repairs.
• Fuel / charge equipment as required, daily.
• Transporting materials to different locations within the facility.
• Securing loads to the equipment before transportation.
• Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.
• Drive within the expected speed range (~5mph), slowing near obstacles and walls.
• Operating and managing technical equipment.
• Managing inventory by utilizing RF scanning equipment.
• Identifying workplace safety hazards.
• Adhere to the company team culture expectations.
• Following all safety management standards.
• Adhering to production schedules.
• Maintain clean work environment, following company GMP policies.
• Perform all processing and cross functional activities.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or similar role.
• Valid internal Forklift Operator certification.
• Able to lift, up to 50-pounds.
• Excellent vision, hand-eye coordination, and surrounding awareness.
• Proficiency in operating technical machinery and RF scanners.
• Mathematical aptitude with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Organizational and leadership skills with attention to detail.
• Damage free mindset.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
