Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Back Dock associate, where your energy and precision will keep our distribution operations running smoothly! In this vital role, you'll be the backbone of efficient shipping and receiving processes, ensuring products are loaded, unloaded, and organized with care and safety. Your proactive approach will help maintain seamless warehouse flow, support inventory accuracy, and uphold safety standards across all operations. Duties Load and unload trucks using forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment Operate cranes and heavy equipment safely to move large or bulky items within the dock area Pick orders accurately using RF scanners and manual methods to prepare shipments for dispatch Ensure proper stacking, securing, and storage of goods in the warehouse according to safety protocols Assist with inventory management by conducting regular stock counts and updating records Follow shipping & receiving procedures to ensure timely processing of goods while adhering to OSHA safety standards Maintain a clean, organized dock area by performing manual handling tasks and adhering to safety guidelines Requirements Proven experience in warehouse distribution or similar logistics environments Hands-on experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, cranes, and other heavy equipment Strong knowledge of warehouse operations including order picking, load & unload procedures, and inventory management Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting safely and efficiently Familiarity with RF scanners for order picking and inventory updates Basic math skills for measurements, counting, and record keeping Knowledge of OSHA safety protocols related to warehouse activities and heavy equipment operation Previous warehouse supervisor experience is a plus but not required; leadership skills are valued Valid certification for forklift operation or heavy equipment operation preferred but not mandatory Join us in creating a safe, efficient environment where your skills make a real impact!
