Forklift Operator Pay:

$14-$16/hour

Shift:

7:00 AM-3:30

PM Schedule:

Monday-Saturday, with required overtime

Peak Season:

Must be comfortable working up to 14 days straight during peak shelling season  We are looking for an experienced Forklift Operator to join a busy peanut shelling facility. This position requires someone who is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working overtime during the busy shelling season.

Responsibilities:

Operate a forklift safely throughout the facility Move, load, unload, and stage materials and products Transport peanuts and other materials to designated areas Assist with general warehouse and production duties as needed Follow all safety procedures and workplace guidelines Keep work areas clean and organized Complete other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Previous forklift operating experience

REQUIRED

Must be comfortable working in a peanut shelling/production environment Must be available to work Monday through Saturday Overtime is required Must be comfortable working up to 14 consecutive days during peak shelling season Dependable attendance and reliable transportation Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Important:

This position has a demanding schedule during peak season. Candidates must have the availability and flexibility to work required overtime and extended consecutive workdays. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Smithville, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $14.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
