Job Description

Responsible for one or more of the following: pulling and delivering product to production or shipping, loading and unloading trucks and containers, stocking and restocking shelves in the warehouses, as well as a variety of miscellaneous warehouse duties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Maintain inventory integrity. 2. Pull inventory for production. 3. Stock all received inventory. 4. Pull plain bag orders. 5. Scrap cardboard and plastic. 6. Keep warehouse and related areas clean. 7. Cycle counting. 8. Help shipping department, as needed. 9. Perform related duties as assigned by management.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
Material Handlers who are forklift certified are required to perform the following duties: Daily safety inspections of any fork truck they are using. Battery watering as needed for any fork truck they are using. Report any damage to or unsafe conditions in the warehouse or warehouse racking system. Conform to all safety requirements and guidelines for fork truck drivers as described in the approved training materials.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Experience with inventory control and fork truck driving would be helpful. Strong interpersonal skills required.
CAREER PATH
Eligible for promotion to various positions within the Warehouse department, and throughout the company, depending upon individual skills and qualifications.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES 1.
Able to follow verbal and written instructions and express ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing. 2. Able to work with a variety of skilled/unskilled, professional and administrative personnel. 3. Knowledgeable about shipping logistics and computers. 4. Possess strong interpersonal skills. 5. Knowledgeable about shipping computers and warehouse layout. 6. $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
