Responsibilities Safely operate forklift trucks, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo equipment to load and unload goods efficiently. Manage inventory by accurately barcode scanning for logistics purposes and updating warehouse management systems (WMS). Pick, pack, and prepare orders with precision to meet shipping deadlines while adhering to safety standards in production. Conduct manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and materials handling with proper technique to prevent injury. Perform routine equipment inspections and basic repairs to ensure optimal operation; report any malfunctions promptly. Assist with shipping & receiving activities by verifying inbound/outbound shipments against documentation. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment by following warehouse safety protocols and OSHA guidelines. Qualifications Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning technology, and inventory management practices. Familiarity with safety standards in production environments including OSHA regulations related to forklift safety protocols and manual handling. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle materials with care during order picking and load/unload tasks. Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and data entry accuracy. Previous warehouse experience with shipping & receiving operations preferred; warehouse supervisor experience is a plus. Valid certification for forklift operation; ongoing commitment to safety training is essential.
