Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator/Janitorial/Maintenance Technician to join our team. This multifaceted role is essential for maintaining efficient operations, ensuring safety standards, and supporting facility cleanliness. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in forklift operation and maintenance procedures. They will play a vital role in managing and handling materials safely and ensuring the workspace remains organized and compliant with safety regulations. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where safety, efficiency, and attention to detail are paramount. Responsibilities Operate various types of warehouse equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo forklifts in accordance with OSHA and safety standards. Load and unload shipments efficiently while adhering to proper manual handling and heavy lifting protocols. Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on equipment to ensure operational safety and longevity. Conduct regular cleaning duties, including janitorial tasks, to maintain a safe and sanitary work environment. Implement warehouse safety protocols during all operations to prevent accidents and promote a safe working environment. Support warehouse management by maintaining organized storage areas and assisting with inventory counts. Use basic math skills for inventory adjustments, measurements, and verifying shipment quantities. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve warehouse procedures and ensure compliance with safety standards. Experience Proven experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, or similar machinery. Prior experience in warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, order picking, inventory management, or distribution centers. Familiarity with OSHA regulations related to forklift safety protocols and heavy equipment operation. Experience performing equipment repairs or basic maintenance tasks is preferred. Strong understanding of materials handling techniques including manual handling and heavy lifting procedures. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory control purposes. Demonstrated commitment to safety standards in production environments. Schedule Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:30pm $18.00
