Job Summary:

PWR Staffing is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Warehouse Associate to support receiving, stocking, picking, packing, shipping, inventory, and material-handling operations. This is a hands-on warehouse position requiring regular standing, walking, lifting, and movement throughout the facility. Forklift operation is part of this role. Responsibilities Unload, receive, inspect, and put away incoming products and merchandise. Check shipments for damage and discrepancies. Sort, label, move, and store goods in designated locations. Organize warehouse space for efficient storage. Read customer orders, work orders, shipping documents, and other instructions. Pick products using paper or electronic pick lists. Pack and prepare outgoing orders. Verify product quantities and order accuracy. Place products on pallets using pallet jacks or forklifts. Load trucks for customer delivery. Secure shipments using appropriate strapping, bracing, or padding. Consolidate freight and verify shipping methods. Prepare shipping documentation. Enter inventory and shipment information into computerized systems. Maintain accurate inventory records. Document and report discrepancies. Assist with inventory counts. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment. Follow all warehouse safety procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications 1+ year of warehouse, shipping/receiving or material handling required High school diploma or equivalent required. 1+ year of experience with loading, unloading, picking, packing, stocking, shipping, or receiving. Forklift experience preferred/required based on applicable site certification. Ability to successfully complete required equipment certification. Strong attention to detail. Safety-minded. Ability to read and understand safety rules, work orders, procedures, and operating instructions. Basic computer skills. Ability to learn warehouse and ERP systems. Basic mathematical skills. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable and punctual. Physical Requirements Candidates must be able to: Stand and walk for extended periods. Bend, kneel, crouch, reach, climb, and balance. Handle physical inventory. Lift up to 50 pounds or greater with assistance , following safety procedures. Repeatedly move materials throughout the warehouse. Wear required PPE. Safety Requirements Steel-toe safety shoes are mandatory. Gloves, protective eyewear, or additional PPE may be required. Employees may be required to pass written and practical warehouse-equipment certifications. All warehouse safety procedures must be followed. Schedule & Overtime Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM. Overtime may be required based on business needs. Occasional extended hours, evenings, weekends, or schedule changes may occur.
